Configuring PCs for Ethernet & DHCP in Windows:

For Windows 98 / ME

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network > Configuration

Select TCP/IP > NE2000 Compatible or the name of any Network Card (NIC) in your PC.

Click Properties:

Click the DNS Configuration tab and Disable DNS then select the IP Address tab:

Click Obtain an IP Address automatically. Click OK to finish.

For Windows NT 4 NEXT
